About Me (Chris)

Doctoral Candidate in Computational Discovery | University of Oxford

My research focuses on accelerating the design of new sustainable battery materials using cutting-edge AI methods (at least thats what the fancy title says I do).

Research Focus

  • Solid electrolytes
  • Accelerated modelling of battery materials with ML methods
  • Diffusion, disorder, and defects, and their effects on conductivity

Collaboration

My doctoral research is a collaborative effort between the University of Oxford, IBM, and EPSRC, aimed at pushing the boundaries of sustainable energy storage solutions.

I’m always open to discussing innovative ideas in computational materials science and AI applications in chemistry. Feel free to connect with me for collaborations or engaging discussions in these exciting fields!
